Brand profile

The Club Executive Africa identity

One umbrella brand for every night we stage across the continent. Elegant enough for a boardroom deck, alive enough for a Friday at midnight.

Logo

Club Executive Africa

Primary lockup — use wherever space allows.

Club Executive Africa monogram

The CE monogram — social avatars, tickets, stamps and small spaces.

  • Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the letter C.
  • Place it on Midnight Cocoa, black, or a dark image area — never on busy imagery.
  • Never stretch, recolour, outline, add shadows, or rebuild the monogram in another font.
  • Minimum sizes: lockup 120px wide, monogram 24px tall.

Typography

Display — Fraunces

An evening worth clearing the calendar for

Headlines and event titles. Weights 300–500, tight leading, sentence case.

Body — Manrope

Doors at 8. Two rooms, one continent, and a guest list that reads like a who's who of African business.

Body copy, navigation, buttons, labels. Weights 300–600.

Small labels and eyebrows use uppercase Manrope at 11px with 0.2em letterspacing.

Tone of voice

Mature, never stiff

Short, assured sentences. We state the room, the night and the guest list — no exclamation marks, no hype.

Warm and human

We write like a well-briefed host: welcoming, specific and quietly witty. Fun lives in the detail, not the volume.

Corporate-ready

Partners and sponsors should read our copy and see credibility: real venues, real dates, real numbers.

Say

“An intimate night of live sets and long conversations. 200 seats, one list.”

Don’t say

“The BIGGEST party of the year!!! Don’t miss out — tickets going fast!!”

Photography & motion

  • Low, warm light. Candlelight, brass, dark wood, skin tones that glow.
  • People mid-conversation and mid-laugh — poise with warmth, never posed grins.
  • No neon, no flash-heavy club flyers, no stock handshakes.
  • Motion is restrained: slow fades and a 2px lift on hover. Nothing bounces.

Naming

The umbrella is always written “Club Executive Africa” in full on first mention, then “Club Executive”. Individual events carry their own short, evocative names (Velvet Hours, The Gold Table) and are always presented as “a Club Executive Africa event”.
